Warranty Policy

Our practice takes pride in the dentistry we provide for you and your family. Our goal extends beyond correcting dental issues to educating you on preventive measures against dental diseases. We recommend professional products and services based on your oral health and personal goals. A healthy smile not only enhances beauty but also saves you time and expenses.

Your personal care for teeth and gums significantly impacts the longevity of your healthy smile. For instance, adhering to recommended professional cleaning appointments, including periodic examinations by the dentist, images, and fluoride treatments, enhances overall oral health. We may recommend visits every 3, 4, or 6 months, depending on your individual needs. With this in mind, we offer the following limited dental warranties:

WARRANTY COVERAGE:

Tooth-Colored Fillings:

If a composite filling is recommended and fails within 24 Hours, we will replace or repair it. Please note that tooth colored restorations as a compromised treatment are not covered under this warranty.

Root Canal Treatment:

If there is a reoccurrence of infection within 3 days of the initial treatment, necessitating additional treatment, we will apply your portion paid as a credit toward a replacement tooth.

Crowns, Bridges, and Onlays:

Lab-fabricated crowns, bridges, and onlays have a 10-year warranty from the date of initial placement. Afterward, a replacement fee for the lab and impression material applies.

Dentures and Partials:

We warranty dentures and partials for 48 Hours for repairs due to normal use. Breakage from accidents is not covered.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

• Accidental trauma or injury to the dental work.
• Failure to follow post-treatment care instructions provided by our dental professionals.
• Negligence or misuse of the dental work by the patient.
• Changes in oral health or bone structure unrelated to the dental procedure.
• Dental work performed by a third-party dentist or unauthorized modifications made to the original treatment plan.

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS:

• In the event of a warranty claim, patients must contact Cayo Dental Hospital to schedule an appointment for evaluation.
• Our dental professionals will assess the issue and determine if it falls within the scope of the warranty coverage.
• If the issue is deemed to be covered under warranty, necessary repairs or replacements will be provided at no additional cost to the patient.

LIMITATIONS

• The warranty is valid only for the original patient and is not transferable.
• Patients must maintain regular dental check-ups and cleanings as recommended by our dental professionals to ensure warranty coverage remains valid.
• Cayo Dental Hospital reserves the right to modify or terminate the warranty policy at any time, with or without prior notice.

WARRANTY REGISTRATION

To activate the warranty coverage, patients must complete the necessary registration process, which may include providing personal information and signing relevant documents.

COMMUNICATION OF WARRANTY TERMS:

• Patients will be provided with a detailed explanation of the warranty terms and conditions at the time of treatment planning and before the commencement of any dental procedure.
• A copy of the warranty terms will be provided to the patient for their records.
